Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT
For all new bookings a deposit of £50 is required per room per night. For weekly reservations it is £100. Payment may be made by way of cheque, debit or credit cards (except AMEX).

CANCELLATION
Guests are respectfully reminded that a confirmed reservation constitutes a binding contract. In the event of cancellation, any deposit paid will be forfeited. We reserve the right to charge in full for any reservations cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date and will do this especially in high season, Christmas and New Year. We advise you to consider travel insurance in the event of cancellation.

RATES
The rate quoted/advertised on our website as DBB (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast) is per person per night (based on double occupancy) inclusive of full Scottish breakfast and dinner. For B&B (Bed and Breakfast) only, the rate quoted is per person per night (based on double occupancy) inclusive of full Scottish breakfast. For single occupancy an additional supplement will apply per night where a twin/double room is requested.

PETS
Sorry, but except for Guide Dogs, we do not allow pets in the house.

CHILDREN
Children under 10 years may stay by prior arrangement and must be supervised at all times. We are unable to provide cots or high-chairs for young children.

SMOKING AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Due to the non-smoking legislation in Scotland, Culdearn is a totally non-smoking establishment. Any damage caused through smoking (of any substance) will be charged for accordingly as will any damage to furnishings etc., caused through negligence.

ALCOHOL
As we are fully licenced, guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol into the house for consumption including in their room(s). Any alcohol brought onto the premises will have a corkage charge applied of £25.00 per bottle and this is by explicit prior arrangement only.

DRESS CODE
For dinner, please note that the dress code is smart casual although we request no blue jeans or shorts.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Guest bedrooms are available from 3.30pm onwards. Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.30am on the day of departure.

CAR PARKING
The proprietor does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to any guest’s vehicle or its contents whilst situated in the grounds of the house.
