Highland Games

Traditional Highland Games take place at Heathfield Park, Grantown-on-Spey.

Events include Piping, Highland Dancing, Glenfiddich Heavy Events Championship, Track and Field, Tug O’’ War and Cycling. A full day out with events starting at 10am and finishing around 5pm.

There are many other Highland Games in the area, Newtonmore and Dufftown also hold annual gatherings and there are many other events running from June until September each year.

On the first Saturday in September is The ‘Gathering’ at Braemar which are the Games attended by Her Majesty the Queen and members of her family and which many guests from Culdearn have enjoyed attending over the years.
